Bodhi Wellness Canmore Spa Director - Emma

Emma first moved to Canada from Australia in 2014, intending to stay for just one ski season. She instantly fell in love with the Rockies and the incredible mountain lifestyle here in the Bow Valley, and a six month adventure became a permanent home.

Emma is passionate about all things health, wellness, and personal growth, and so a career in the wellness industry was a natural choice for her. A battle with a chronic injury further deepened her interest in the connection between mind and body, and solidified her belief in a holistic approach to healing. Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Physiotherapy all played a significant role in her recovery and taught her valuable lessons about the interconnectedness of body systems and the importance of looking at the whole picture.

Emma enjoys a regular yoga practice and values balance in her life, prioritizing good nutrition, movement, sleep, and mental wellbeing. In her free time, Emma can be usually be found outdoors; skiing in the winter, and hiking, paddling, or camping in the summer.  Having lived in 4 countries by the time she was 10, she caught the travel bug early and loves exploring the world and experiencing new cultures. Some of her favourite adventures have included hiking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, camping atop volcanoes in Guatemala, and island hopping in Greece.  Next on her very long bucket list are Tanzania & Central Asia! She also enjoys reading, baking, and making friends with every dog she meets.
