WHAT SPA FACILITIES DO YOU HAVE? ARE THEY INCLUDED?
Complimentary access to our Bodhi Canmore spa amenities is included with every treatment! We have two secluded outdoor hot pools with mountain views, a refreshing eucalyptus steam room, and a fitness room.

Changing rooms with showers & lockers are available, as well as secure, heated underground parking. We also offer a selection of local tea blends & fresh lemon water to help you settle in & relax before your massage or spa treatment.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO USE THE SPA FACILITIES?
If you plan to use the hot pools or steam room, please bring your swimsuit. Complimentary towels, sandals, and locks are available for rental at reception, and plush robes can be rented for a $5 rental fee. You are also welcome to bring your own robe & other items. All rented items must be returned or a $10 (towels/locks/sandals) and $50 (robes) fee will be charged to the card on file.

I FORGOT MY SWIMSUIT...
No problem, we've got you covered - a selection of affordable swimsuits and shorts are available for purchase at reception, so you can still enjoy the hot pools and eucalyptus steam room without missing a thing.​

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to settle in. If you wish to use the hot pools, eucalyptus steam room, or gym before your appointment, you may arrive earlier.
Please check our Canmore spa reception opening hours to plan your visit. If you arrive while our reception desk is closed, you can still access the spa facilities and changing rooms between 9am and 10pm using the code provided in your booking confirmation email - but please note that you will not have access to towels, robes, locks, sandals, or refreshments outside of reception hours. If you have an appointment outside spa reception hours, your practitioner will check you in at the time of your booking and can provide you with these items to use after your treatment.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Bodhi Canmore guests can enjoy free, secure underground parking. Upon booking, a keycode for the parkade will be emailed to you. The parkade entrance is at the end of the building on the right. We also have additional free street parking in front of Silver Creek Lodge. ​

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
We have men's and women's locker rooms with showers if you would like to freshen up before your treatment, or shower after using the facilities. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided. Hairdryers are located in the changing rooms, and body lotion is available at spa reception, by request.

HOW WILL I KEEP MY BELONGINGS SAFE?
We have lockers in the changing rooms. Locks are available at spa reception. If you prefer, you can also take your items into your treatment room with you.​

WHAT TEMPERATURE ARE YOUR HOT TUBS?
Our outdoor hot pools are typically set to 103ºF / 39.4ºC.​

CAN I USE THE SPA FACILITIES WHILE PREGNANT?
We strongly recommend against using the eucalyptus steam room during pregnancy due to extreme heat. Use of hot pools is generally not recommended during pregnancy - please consult your healthcare provider before using hot tubs, and proceed according to their guidance. Bodhi Wellness assumes no liability for facility use during pregnancy.

DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN / MINORS?
Yes, we’re happy to welcome younger guests! Please let us know at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements. For younger children, we ask that they be booked in the same room as a parent, guardian, or sibling, in one of our spacious couples rooms.
For children under 12, we recommend a maximum treatment length of 45 minutes, considering their developing bodies and attention spans. A parent or legal guardian will need to provide consent by signing our intake form before the treatment.​ Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the hot pools, steam room, or fitness room.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE GROUPS?
Absolutely! We regularly welcome Bachelorette groups, girls weekends, corporate retreats, family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and other group bookings. ​

HOW DO I MAKE A GROUP BOOKING?

ARE YOU LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY?
Yes, absolutely! At Bodhi Canmore, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We believe in the importance of creating a safe and comfortable space where all individuals can enjoy our spa services.

While we aren't able to offer gender-neutral changing rooms, we are dedicated to making every guest feel comfortable. If you have specific needs or concerns, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Showers within the change-rooms are private, lockable cubicles, and we can provide an alternate room for you to change if you wish. Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities.​​

WHAT KIND OF MASSAGE AM I GETTING?
Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs & preferences - you choose the pressure, style and focus. Our massage therapists are skilled in deep tissue, therapeutic, relaxation, prenatal and post-natal massage. Most therapists also offer myofascial cupping & hot stone massage.
Specific RMTs offer TMJ massage (Cheryl, John, Blaine), Lymphatic Drainage (John), & Graston Technique (Cheryl). Please see our Massage Therapy menu for a full range of options and pricing.

MASSAGE ISN'T FOR ME - DO YOU HAVE OTHER TREATMENTS?
Absolutely! In addition to massage, we offer Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Sound Therapy, and Body Wraps - plenty of options for those seeking gentle, non-invasive approaches to wellness.​

DO YOU OFFER COUPLES MASSAGE?
Yes! Couples massage is one of our most popular treatment options. Your Bodhi Canmore couples massage will take place in one of our spacious couples treatment rooms with two beds. Each massage will still be fully customized to your individual needs and preferences for style, pressure, and focus. Add-ons like cupping and hot stones can be mixed, as long as the treatment length is the same.

HOW DO I BOOK A COUPLES MASSAGE?
To book a couples massage online, please see the instructions on our Couples Massage page and ensure you book TWO appointments - one for each person. You can also call us for assistance booking a couples massage at 403-678-1420. ​​​

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY MASSAGE?
Whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Most people will strip down to underwear, but this is not required. Your therapist will leave you in privacy to change and get settled on the massage table, and will ensure you are covered and warm during your treatment.

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY BODY WRAP?
We will provide disposable underwear to wear during your body wrap. Your therapist will keep you covered with a towel and/or duvet as much as possible.

I'M PREGNANT, WHICH TREATMENTS ARE SAFE FOR ME?
Prenatal Massage Therapy is a safe and effective treatment that can provide huge benefits and help alleviate the aches and pains of pregnancy. Reiki, Reflexology, and Craniosacral Therapy are all gentle, supportive treatments that are safe during pregnancy and can help with relaxation, nervous system balance, and tension relief.

We do not recommend body wraps or hot stone treatments during pregnancy, as they involve elevated body temperature and extended time lying on your back. We do not recommend use of the hot pools or eucalyptus steam while pregnant.​​

Billing + Payments
DO YOU DIRECT BILL TO INSURANCE COMPANIES?
Yes! We direct bill for Registered Massage Therapy to most major insurance companies. We are only able to bill to the primary insurance policy for each person - if you have secondary insurance, we will provide a receipt for you to submit any remaining balance. Please fill out the email intake form with your insurance information before your appointment.
**IMPORTANT** - If you wish to bill to insurance, you must select a practitioner with "RMT" (Registered Massage Therapist) next to their name. If you select an "MT", you will not be able to claim through insurance at all.

ARE ALL YOUR MASSAGE THERAPISTS REGISTERED?
The majority of our therapists are RMTs, registered in Alberta. Edna (MT) is the only exception, as she completed her studies overseas, but has been working as a massage therapist in the Bow Valley for over 6 years. Massages with Edna cannot be billed to insurance. If you wish to claim through insurance, you must select a practitioner with "RMT" next to their name.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Debit & Cash are all accepted.​

DO YOU REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD FOR BOOKING?
A credit card is required to secure your booking to protect our practitioners in case of no shows and late cancellations. We do not charge anything to the card unless you no-show or late cancel with less than 24 hours notice (72 hours for groups of 3 or more).
Our front desk team will take payment in person at the end of your treatment, using whichever payment method you prefer.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a gap in your practitioners day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours notice for individuals & couples, and 72 hours notice for groups of 3+, for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.
Clients who late cancel within this timeframe will be charged a 50% cancellation fee (based on services booked) to the card on file. No shows with no attempt to contact us will be charged 100% of their treatment cost to the card on file.
There is no fee for cancellations made outside of the 24 hour (or 72 hour for groups of 3+) late cancellation timeframe.​​​​​​​

Bodhi Canmore gift cards have no expiry, so the lucky recipient can plan their visit whenever the time feels right for them - no pressure, no rush.

Online gift card purchases are processed immediately, with an e-gift certificate emailed to you right away. If you'd like a more aesthetic, printable gift certificate, just email us at info@bodhicanmore.com after purchasing, and our spa reception team will send you a beautifully designed PDF certificate to print or forward along.
