Ha Ling Peak
Distance: 7.4 km out-and-back
Difficulty: Difficult
Elevation Gain: 763 m
A local classic and one of Canmore’s most iconic peaks. The well-maintained switchbacks make the steep climb manageable, and the summit views over the Bow Valley are unforgettable. Microspikes are recommended in spring and fall when conditions can be icy.
Mount Lady Macdonald
Distance: 10.3 km out-and-back
Difficulty: Difficult
Elevation Gain: 950 m to the helipad/ 1271 m to the true summit
Looking for a challenging hike that rewards you with some of the best views in the Bow Valley? Mount Lady Macdonald (often called Lady Mac) is a classic Canmore trail that offers two distinct summit options, perfect for tailoring the hike to your comfort level. Most hikers aim for the old helipad, a large flat area with jaw-dropping panoramic views that make a perfect lunch spot.
If you’re feeling more adventurous, the trail continues after the helipad along a narrow, exposed ridge to the true summit, adding another 300+ vertical meters. This section involves hands-on scrambling and considerable exposure, recommended only for experienced hikers comfortable with heights and loose rock.

East End of Rundle (EEOR)
Distance: 4.8 km out-and-back
Difficulty: Difficult (Scramble)
Elevation Gain: 823 m
A challenging and rewarding scramble up the eastern edge of Mount Rundle. Steep and rocky with some hands-on climbing near the top so this hike is best suited for experienced hikers. EEOR includes incredible views over Ha Ling and Canmore.
After time spent on the trails, give your body the care it deserves with a post-hike recovery massage at Bodhi Canmore Spa.

For deeper release, myofascial cupping therapy helps boost circulation and relieve lingering soreness from time on the trail. If relaxation is your goal, the steady warmth of a hot stone massage will melt away fatigue and soothe sore joints, perfect after a day on your feet.
Lastly, extend your recovery in our hot tubs and steam room, where gentle heat helps calm inflammation, soften tight muscles, and helps bring your body back into balance.
